Back from NY and my brother's wedding. Now, there is a new reason for me not to get married - to avoid all the craziness that comes with weddings. Anyway, my big news - I HAVE A NEW FAMILY MEMBER!

:-) Let me introduce my kitty, Lucy Lu. Three weeks ago I happened to walk into a PetsMart's adoption room, and... she picked me, and I had to take her home.

I did a few shots of her (behind the cut), on the bed that you kindly helped me to pick. I should have made it up better for the pictures (both, the bed and the room), but didn’t realize I’d be shooting the cat. So, here’s the cat, and the bed, and I love them both.

PS. Just found out that a piece of mine was nominated for round 2# of the [info]forbiddenawards

Aw, wow! I love your bedroom. It's way better than mine right now. (Haven't done mine yet with the whole unpacking, uh, a year later.) And your cat is gorgeous!

Thank you, sweety. My bedroom is not done yet either (IoI), but the bed looks nice. Thanks again for helping me out.

Poor Lucy the cat had her back injured prior to being abandoned, and she spent a year in the adoption center... poor thing had one tough life, and she is extremely grateful that I got her out. It's now her bed, by the way.

Well, that's one fat, happy cat! I can easily see who's running things there. Obviously that's her bed now, but good to see she let's you stop in and take her picture.

Actually, she is very small - but as all persians she has very large coat and appears to be fat. :-) Oh, she wants me in the bed scratching her back, and every time I get up she starts screaming like crazy.

Муррр-мяу Какая роскошная киска, обожаю когда они такие лохматенькие и пушистые :) Мой Федор не такой пушистый, но зато у него лохматенькое брюхо и он очень любит, когда его ему чешут - он от этого тащится :)
Какая же у тебя замечательная спальня, а кровать - мечта принцессы :) Очень красиво! И кошаточка вписывается в интерьер идеально *LoL*
